Meet the Pastor

Pastor, Georges Kacou is the senior pastor and founder of Promised Land International Ministry (PLIM). Pastor Georges Kacou demonstrates a keen awareness of people’s needs by providing practical Biblical truths for everyday life. Modeling his ministry after the apostle Paul’s message to the Ephesians, Pastor Georges Kacou believes that:

” … Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus – the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love” (Acts 20:24 LB).

Pastor Georges Kacou’s earliest memories are of God’s support during the difficult circumstances following his severe car accident in 2001. Through the rehabilitation process and several events at the hospital, he learned to trust and obey God’s Word.

Pastor Georges Kacou received a clear call to the ministry, which later led him to earn a consecration into the Deacons’ board of the Full Gospel Believers’ Church in New York, where couple years later, he became the chairman of the Deacon board. On October 2nd, 2016, Pastor Georges Kacou was ordained into the ministry of Pastor to confirm God’s calling.

Pastor Georges Kacou’s messages tackle such issues as parenting, finances, personal crises, emotions, and relationships. Instructional teaching for personal spiritual growth focuses on prayer, the character of God, fellowship through the Holy Spirit and the Person of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Georges Kacou fervently believes the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God, a belief strongly reflected in his teaching. Pastor Georges Kacou is currently enrolled in Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, MA where he is obtaining a master’s degree in theology.

Who we Are

Our mission statement can be summed up in one word: REACH.

Reaching Up | Loving God:
Vertical reach to touch God. We reach up through worship.

Reach In | Serving Each Other:
Horizontal reach to bless others. We serve God by serving each other.

Reach Out | Changing the World:
Outward reach can change the world. We must be bold and courageous. Jesus commanded us to go into the entire world and preach the good news.

A place where a person with no church background can come and feel comfortable and enjoy the service because the atmosphere will be friendly. The sermons are always practical, biblical, and relevant. The music is contemporary and upbeat with a praise team and full band.

A church that is fun for the entire family, a church where kids want to go because they have a great time experiencing God’s love.

A church that builds families.

These dreams are being fulfilled because they are inspired by God!

A church that helps every member find their ministry and lets them use their gifts and abilities to meet other’s needs.

We believe the church is at her best when the doors are open to all of whom have an interest in learning about the Christian faith. Wherever you are on your journey, regardless of where you fall on the deep questions of faith, our community is open to you.

Mission and Vision

At Promise Land International Ministry, we are committed to certain principles of care and leadership.

These include:

-Every member of the ministry is pastored into maturity in Christ (1 Thessalonians 3:8, Colossians 1:28)

-Every leader is pastored and equipped to fulfill their role, that we might see the foreshowing and establishing of the reign of our Lord Jesus in the life of the individual believer.

-Committed to building a strong community that is founded on Christ (Acts 2:42 – 47).

-A refuge for welcoming the new believer and member alike.

To this end, each member is given the opportunity to demonstrate through exhortations what he has received from Jesus Christ by his understanding and the handling of the scriptures.

PLIM is committed to preparing its members for a victorious, strong, marvelous Christian life, based only on the Lord Jesus Christ.

To accomplish its vision and mission, PLIM aims to equip itself with various social infrastructures including:

The free distribution of food to all those in need.

Adult education: English as second language

Daycares for younger children.

Helping people with disabilities and the sick

The Touch of the Holy Spirit

Galatians 2:20

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

I will succeed and not a failure because Christ dwells richly in me.

Daniel 6:3

Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.

Lord, give me a spirit of excellence so that I can arise in my calling and glorify your name.

Romans 8:14

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

One important work of the Holy Ghost in the life of a believer is to teach us and lead us in everything we do, to teach and lead us in all our ways, to teach and lead us to do the right things, to teach us to live a life to please God. The Holy Spirit leads us by teaching us the right steps to take.

Daniel 6:3

Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.

Lord, give me a spirit of excellence so that I can arise in my calling and glorify your name.
